Happenin Records presents the first ever HAPPENIN FEST on June 30, 2012! Close to ten bands will be performing inside (and outside) of Vertical House Records in Huntsville, Alabama from 5:00pm – 1:00am.

For a simple $8 cover, attendees will get to rock out and drink beer with us until we decide to close up shop. We’ll be debuting new cassettes, giving away free vinyl, and hooking certain people up with limited edition posters.

Kegs will be tapped, but you gotta be 21+ to fall down. All ages are welcome, though!

Help us set off our first Fest, and show your support for this amazing lineup:

Wednesday May 30th we will be having an awesome show! Useless Eaters from Nasvhille, Tennessee and Really Loud Hamburgers play their first show in quite a while! Music will start around 9pm, admission $5!

YOU GUYS! It’s hard to believe but ye olde Vertical House Records is turning FIVE! For the last half of the decade we’ve been thrilled to provide Huntsville with a vinyl shop and show spot. To celebrate, on Monday April 23rd is we are having a grand re-opening show/party featuring Peach Kelli Pop (Awesome Girl Pop Punk from Ottowa Canada), The Porcharitas (it’s their record release show for their debut 7″ on Vertical House Records), and local singer/songwriter Sam McLeroy! Please join us for good times and good tunes!!

Show starts around 8pm and admission is $6!

We are thrilled to be participating in Record Store Day 2012 on April 21st! We will be open from 11-6pm. Come early for best chances of getting the items you want because quantities are VERY limited. One copy per person on each title, no holds or reserves.
